The Barwon Heads Combined Tour was conceived by a group of bored Adelaide Doctors who regularly visited Narracoorte and got sick of playing at Royal Naracoorte.  After much debate a neutral course miles from anywhere  was selected (Barwon Heads Victoria).  The first competition took place in September 2000 attended by 10 players.

Since 2000, over 45 different people have played in the event.  Two desperates have attended every year (Norcock and Porter T)
